I am seeking information on how to use the COPY librarian function with Micro Focus COBOL
to include COBOL code with the program at compile time.

In the IBM mainframe librarian system with which I am familiar, the verb is COPY and must
begin in position 2. The library member name follows in position 7 with a space between the verb
and the member name. Since the COPY verb is a librarian command and not a COBOL
statement, it is not necessary to begin the command in position 12 or higher.

I have questions on how to do this with Micro Focus.

I believe I remember seeing an example where the verb is spelled CPY (not COPY).

Is this correct?

I also remember that with Micro Focus, the member name is enclosed in quote marks. I have
questions about this. Are the quote marks optional? Is it optional whether the member name is
enclosed in double quotes or single quotes?

Finally, must the CPY verb start in a specific position?
