The future of Dialog. That was the reason we didn't use it in the first place. I wanted to control the technology, so I decided to write our own screen manager. It's pretty slick and solves many problems.

We sold it once in the 80's along with our conversion technology to an HP 3000. I haven't thought of selling it currently, but I would be open to the discussion if you were interested.

I feel your pain regarding .net. The more I looked at it the more I felt I was going down the Gates sinkhole never to return. We ended up adding more functionality to our Screen and File Managers.

Nice to meet you. we have been using Net Express (formally Workbench) for a couple of decades. We wrote our own screen manager rather than using Dialog, which solved certain problems.

Data is either vision or SQL. We are not using .Net yet. Until the MELD version is complete we are limited to use only the Acucobol side of Microfocus. Our product is developed for PC users or Mac's using Terminal Services.
